  • Free range chicken breast
  • Whole carrot and fresh parsley
  • Beta-carotene and fibre

Ingredients: Chicken breast 76%, Carrot 20%, Parsley 4%, Vitamin E (natural preservative).

A balance of protein, fibre, vitamins and healthy oils, made from fresh Australian produce and quality meat. No artificial preservatives, no fillers. Made in small batches in Sydney.

What goes in, and why

  • Free range chicken breast, 76%. A lean, complete protein that carries all the essential amino acids a dog needs to build and hold muscle. Light enough to suit most stomachs.
  • Whole carrot, 20%. The source of the beta-carotene a dog converts into vitamin A, which supports eyesight, skin and immune health. It also brings the fibre that keeps digestion regular.
  • Fresh parsley, 4%. A small amount doing real work. Parsley carries vitamins A, C and K along with the chlorophyll that helps freshen breath.
  • Vitamin E. Our natural preservative. An antioxidant that keeps the oils in the recipe fresh, which is how the pack stays good without anything artificial.

Each part covers what the others do not. Chicken alone is protein and very little else. The natural fats in the breast are what let a dog absorb the beta-carotene from the carrot, since it is fat-soluble and passes straight through without them. The carrot's fibre slows a rich protein down so it sits more comfortably, and the parsley fills in the vitamins the meat cannot supply. That is the balance: protein, fibre, vitamins and healthy oils, rather than meat repeated.

How to serve

Break the bark into smaller pieces for training and rewards, or crumble it over a meal to make dinner more interesting. Keep treats to no more than 10% of your dog's daily intake, and always leave fresh water out.

Feeding guide

As a guide, treats should make up no more than 10% of a dog's daily intake. Introduce any new treat gradually and always provide fresh water.

Snap the bark into pieces.
